Developing the poster into a limited edition series of prints, is informed through focus groups with a range of students from across different disciplines. To ensure the series was bold and unique each course was assigned with a colour from the Leeds College of Art brand Guidelines as this keeps the EOYS branding within the colleges own guidelines to ensure a reasonable association with the event.
Developing the original design into a series actuates the grid in place and allows the set to work seamlessly creating continuity between each brand extension. The colour colour choices work effectively to captivate the adduces attention and add a creative flair to the overall design direction that will effectively engage the target audience yet does not exclude a general public audience. The branding sits confidently at the top of the poster while the imagery is bold, innovative, and thought provoking. At this stage I have created a sample of 3 courses; Photography, Graphic Design, and Creative Advertising using imagery from the internet however if this concept is successful there would be a call for submissions to identifying the final pieces to be put into production.
