Brief 4: Record Store Day - Development / Series Extension

With the client happy with design direction we had identified we could then begin to develop this further extending the original design into a series of innovatively abstract patterns. We collaboratively created a range of patterns dissecting the logo type and rearranging this in a range of abstract forms. We experimented with a bold colour palette taking inspiration from the research identifying previous record store day posters incorporated a bold use of colour to engage the target audience.
