Brainstorming a range of concepts we agreed the resolution should be focused around the Leeds music scene, We generated a concept to create a series of 5 posters that each reflect a different independent venue in Leeds, which represent 5 different genres of music. These unique styles will influence the aesthetic of the posters and use elements represented to the genre of music through colours and type faces.

Identifying these genres and venues we felt it was important to create a range of mood boards for each genre that will inspire the design process. We divided these up to research individually before coming together and explaining what each other had been inspired by within the exploration of each genre. This research gave a far better understanding of each music genre and will make idea generation and inspiration alot easier throughout the design process.
