Brief 8: Ceramic Processes - Final Designs // Print // Contextualisation

Content with the further development of the glazing poster this brought the whole series together more holistically, creating uniformity within each poster design in its ability to act as independent entities yet come tother and be easily identifiable as a series. Returning to the group I asked for feedback they said these adjustments worked so much better in making the series work holistically.

Printing the poster series I established this would be most effective as A2 prints which would allow the type and space to appear most appropriately. I started to consider the context of the prints, I initially felt this would work in an exhibition along with the physical forms to articulate the coming together of two different disciplines however established these would look equally effective as posters within the workshop to inspire students to engage with different processes and explore new ideas within their exploration of ceramics.  Printing a poster in A1 scale to place within a frame hanging in the ceramics workshop contextualises the print and demonstrates how this would fit within its environment.
