Brief 8: Ceramic Processes - Development: Innovative Materials

The innovative materials posters was the hardest to design for as this was all created by myself therefore didn't follow a process as such which was more difficult to define a create direction reflective of this independent process. Analytically looking back on the process the main element of this was creating my own bespoke form to developing into a mould, this was the most significant stage of the process and it ensured the output is totally unique. Exploring this element of the process this was very technical using CAD to plot the form exactly. To reflect this technical process created a range of blueprint style illustrations that highlight articulate how the form was created, This is anchored with the type to articulate the main aims of the technique to develop experimental forms with innovative materials and that this process was heavily practice lead research.

Developing this further I included a summarised overview of the process to further contextual the development of the form from a conceptual idea into a fully resolved solution. This articulates a technically driven process with the bold titles highlighting the main references within the process to create an appropriately resolved articulation of the form.
