In order to obtain a range of appropriate feedback I self directed my own form of feedback asking a range of students for their opinions on the different routes created for my submission. This is appropriate as they make up a part of the target audience of the brief and can provide an object insight as to each design communicates the track differently.
Discussing all three routes with a small sample of students proved extremely beneficial, discussing route 1 they said they liked the concept of using the sky to create the pantoned block however the felt 'bit superficial' and didn't really reflect the content of the track also this wasn't feasible with the time frame although it was suggested I could just take 100 images over a 24 hour period to re-create the same effect with the time available to me.
I received positive feedback regarding route 2 however feedback suggested this felt 'very tumblr' and lacked a sense of meaning, other than using a pretty gradient.
Route 3 was the most praised direction in terms of concept students felt this was most approbate to the meaning of the lyrics and interpreted the song in a very different direction, comments included 'I like how the line goes from the heart to the mouth because it shows how you need to talk about your feelings'. Based on this feedback I have identified route 3 to be developed into the final submission.
