The slip casting process was the simplest and quickest process to follow, I wanted to reference this within the posters aesthetic. When learning about the process I remember technician explaining this process in its simplest form as 'liquid clay goes into plaster mould, wait 20 minutes, tip the excess out and wait for it to dry'. The straight forward approach is reflected in the aesthetic sighing the key constructs of the process 'liquid clay' and 'plaster mould' as these are the tow variables that make this process unique. This in cleverly placed within abstract white shapes that are actually drawings of two the two sides of the mould used to create the physical form. The use of aesthetic detailing within the concept works to approbate reflect the process aesthetically. Utilising the simplicity of the technique to be appropriately reflected within the posters tone of voice.
